Project Manager – Dual Scope PCA/ESA Due Diligence – East Coast (Major Metro Only)

LOCATION:  Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Raleigh, Charlotte, Atlanta.  This is a remote home office position.

SUMMARY: Blackstone Consulting LLC, an established nationwide commercial real estate due diligence consulting firm, is that is experiencing steady growth, and we are looking to augment our team of talented individuals.
Blackstone is looking for dynamic and energetic individuals who welcome the challenge of joining our Due Diligence team.  The staff-level individuals we are looking for will enjoy the challenge of working on multiple projects at a fast-paced schedule, and working with senior staff to assess a wide variety of sites across the country.
Dual Scope Due Diligence Services Project Manager:
  • Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
  • Conduct Property Condition Assessments in accordance with ASTM and client specific scopes of work
  • Conduct/Direct field investigations activities
  • Analyze laboratory and engineering data
  • Write professional PCA/ESA reports for senior review
  • Represent Blackstone to the client in a professional manner
  • Other consulting project duties as assigned by senior staff
Position Requirements:
  • Experience in performing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Property Condition Assessments
  • Frequent regional travel and/or field work (valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required)
  • Able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with co-workers, clients and subcontractors
  • Able to work with minimal oversight, but take direction from senior managers
  • Able to meet deadlines, both internally and externally
  • Asbestos Inspector certification is desirable
  • Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac experience is desirable
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Sciences, Architecture or related engineering field.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in technical activities directly related to PCA/ESA activities, including report writing and field investigation. This position requires management of multiple concurrent projects with minimum oversight; a willingness to travel at least 50% of the time (primarily east coast); exceptional writing and verbal communication skills; advanced computer literacy on Windows-based programs specifically MS Word, SharePoint, and Excel; estimating, and ability to meet deadlines without exception. Our clients expect in-depth technical expertise with pro-active communication and follow-up.
Knowledge & Skills:  
  • Must be able to perform complex tasks and handle multiple priorities
